From Past to Present
Casey-Fogli is a Concrete Contractor that was established over 100 years ago in 1906. This company has a unique history and culture based around the founder's San Mateo baseball team and love for The Great American Pastime. My challenge was to pay respects to the history of the brand while transitioning into a more contemporary brand environment.
Illustration Style
To give the logo a hand illustrated feeling that is reminiscent of newspaper illlustrations and vintage baseball imagery, I drew a baseball player in a similar pose from the previous logo with a vintage style. This combined elements from both of the previous logos.

Concrete Contractor
The biggest challenge this project presented me with was formgiving a human logo. This is the first logo I created depicting a human character. It was a new and exciting challenge to emulate the vintage baseball illustration styles while implementing modern design standards that optimize for both print and web from the macro to micro design environments
Brand illustrations that use the logo motif to push the brand's distinct look further. The red circle highlights the company's concrete services and hard working concrete masons.
Various mediums of translating the brand include: stationary, embroidery, pickup trucks, and face masks. The brand is consistent and distinct across all collateral which establishes a unique identity among concrete contractors.
